Friends turned foes

Ding dong the witch is dead! Well I didn't drop a house on her but I did send her packing.

At the ripe old age of 33 I've had enough with drama queens, know it all princesses and the whole lot of other high horse riding, full up on themselves annoying little rich girls and/or guys for that matter that think they know everything and other people's time and opinions just don't matter. Then again haven't we all?? I just don't have time for it. You can only sit idly by and watch pretty, pretty princess walk all over good people for so long. She had it coming for a long time trust me. Most wouldn't dare but every once in a while you gotta jump at the chance to. Oh how claws come out when you waste my personal time with loved ones and don't even have the decency to think you're in the wrong. Like pardon me that we're all not globe trotting, responsibility shunning, princesses with whom time doesn't matter. It's supposedly apparent that people like these are and have such good friends and are shocked and awed when someone from beneath their class should clue them into the fact the world doesn't revolve around them. Go figure, all hell breaks loose.  It's tough when the real world and fantasy collide. Getting your bubble burst must be pretty traumatizing but excuse me and the rest of
the planet for living in the real world while you're out there douching it up.

Welcome to reality! Population the rest of the world. Feel free to take your head out of your ass and join us.

While on the subject of high horses and knocking people off them I realized that there was another "show" in town and why not go two for one? It's sad when people you once knew turn their back on you and jump up on the high horse. Sorry folks, I just don't feel like getting into college should bring on Herculean, he-man me fest but hey if that's what floats his boat. Truth be told when your so-called friend tells you that they should be hanging out with their real friends instead of you it's all fair game to bring them down a peg. Me, me, me is all I've heard for months so it was easy letting go. But across the blogging world, while some cheap two bit princess blog part comes the word that I'm not a good friend. Not a good friend for what? No longer putting up with being a second rate citizen by a so called friend in my own home? For tossing aside people that insult my loved ones and think that this is friendship? By pushing aside so called friends that snap at you when you talk about something other than them? I tell ya! Where I'm from two out of three will get you laid out plain and simple. The bigger man inside of me though called out and I could ignore no more. This friendship had set sail. So long, thanks for the memories.

Sure I'm not the greatest person on earth. I've made mistakes but I'm man enough to admit that I make them. I came to my present station in life for a change but just when you think you're out they pull you back in. The me, me, me shows rears its ugly head. Where I'm from feelings never really mattered, you did what you like. In the long run I found this wasn't right and changed for the better. It's sad when friends become foes but hey we can't all get along.  They say we all have some growing up to do, some just a little more than others.

Facebook, a slow death for the human race. Too little too late

Computer aided social networking is failing us. Millions of people love these life draining time killers. Bring on the computer age!

Sooner than later over time the inner need to process or be processed bubbles to the top of all of us. Facebook and such sites only aid in bringing this so called flaw out. C'mon now?! Every one of us has that pal who just can't start\finish the day without a thorough update of good old Facebook. Shoot me now! I'm sick of it! We're all losing face here. Its come to the point two roommates in the same house Facebook instead of talking out their issues.

Simplicity of use is what drives most to use it. I remember not far back that even with such simplicity at your fingertips there was always someone reluctant to get involved. Take a look around now. Ask someone if they facebook. I bet there's someone around you “facebooking" right now! You know its never going to last when it gets its own “catch phrase”?!

Lol

I know, I know Facebook brings thousands maybe millions of people back together around the world. It would be so great to track down those bro's you met riding Whistler last season but some times things were just meant to be. Let it go. It all reminds me of the wasted moments accepting friend requests from some kid you went to kindergarten with. No offense but if I live 3 provinces away and haven't talked to you in more than 10 years, please!! Do you really think we're really gonna change all that now?

Take a look around folks. We all know a Facebook addict. I'm almost willing to put them up on the same shelf as other addicts. When you depend on something to the point you can't live without it things need to change. Let's put and end to an epidemic before it really disrupts our social fabric. Everyone should do us all a favor and go and talk to your friends. You know the people you hung out with before Facebook, Msn or Icq ruined your life.

Move over Facebook its my turn your time to watch. Now where's my cell phone?

Menace to Society

Has it happened to you? Being almost mowed down by some elderly maniac hooning down the sidewalk in their power chair. Hard to believe a golden oldie is in that much of a hurry to get to bingo, pick up their Viagra script or let alone even anywhere for that matter. If it hasn't happened to you mark my words it soon will. And they call teenagers a menace to society?!
My local paper recently had an article about this exact happening. Can you believe this?! They likened it to some kind of road rage. I'd call it an outrage! To think that these power scooting, over the hill crazies that are  off their medication are left out there to their own devices is beyond me. Maybe some of them were race car drivers in an earlier time? I think not Be on the lookout.

This message was brought to you by your local seniors center. Yes, its about time you put them in a home.
